What’s included
- A Lifetime Warranty from Warrantywise, for as long as you keep paying. Cover, limits and any excess are in the Warrantywise plan book (cars, electric cars).
- A service every year: a Major or Minor Service, whichever your car is due, with parts and oil to manufacturer specification.
- An MOT every year, booked with the service where possible. Car under 3? You get a free Safety Check instead of an MOT until one is due.
- Collection and delivery for every plan visit, from home or work.
- Reminders when each service and MOT is due.
The price
Hassle-Free Motoring is £49.99 a month (£599.88 a year) by Direct Debit. There’s a 12-month minimum term, then it carries on monthly for as long as you want it, and the price won’t change in the first 12 months. Prefer to pay upfront? Pay £599.88 a year instead.

How the yearly service and MOT work
- Services: each plan year includes one service, a Major or Minor Service, whichever your car is due. Book it once it’s due under your manufacturer’s schedule.
- MOTs: one MOT each plan year, booked whenever it falls due.
- Payments up to date: plan visits can be booked while your monthly payments are up to date.
A service or MOT not used in its plan year doesn’t carry over. If the garage finds work that isn’t included, we tell you the price first and nothing is done unless you agree.
Your warranty
Petrol, diesel and hybrid cars get Warrantywise Gold cover. It covers parts and labour for the engine, turbo, gearbox and transmission, clutch, drive train, differential, suspension, steering, brakes and ABS, fuel and cooling systems, the main electrical parts and control units, major oil seals, the cylinder head gasket and timing belts, plus the breakdown, recovery and other services described in the plan book. Fully electric cars get Warrantywise’s EV cover instead, set out in the electric car plan book. Your warranty schedule shows your labour rate and repair limits.
- Lasts as long as you keep paying. There’s no fixed end date: your Warrantywise cover carries on for as long as your Direct Debit is paid, until your car is 18 years old or has done 200,000 miles, whichever comes first.
- Provided by Warrantywise. It’s a Warrantywise warranty supplied by CarServe. Warrantywise administers it and handles claims, and your warranty schedule shows your level of cover and repair limits.
- Clear terms before you buy. The parts covered, repair limits and how to claim are set out in the Warrantywise plan book (cars, electric cars). Read it before you buy.
- Pay monthly, or a year upfront, by Direct Debit through GoCardless. Your price won’t change in the first 12 months.
What isn’t included in the service
- Tyres, brake pads and discs, wiper blades, bulbs and batteries
- Replacing spark plugs (they’re inspected), timing belts or chains, and fuel filters
- Brake fluid, coolant, gearbox or other fluid changes, unless listed for your service; AdBlue
- Repairs needed to pass an MOT, and repairs after accident damage, neglect or misuse
- Electric cars: repairs to the high-voltage battery, motor, inverter, on-board charger, charging socket or cables; software updates
If the garage finds work your service doesn’t cover, we contact you with a price first. Nothing extra is done unless you agree, and any extra work you approve is paid for separately. See clause 2.8 of our terms.
Ending it
You can cancel within 14 days, starting the day after you buy your plan, for a full refund. If you've used an MOT in that time, we'll deduct its value. After that, the 12-month minimum term applies: if you end it before then, the payments up to the end of the minimum term remain payable. After the minimum term you can end it at any time by telling us. See clause 7.6 of our terms.
