3-year car service plan: 3 services and 3 MOTs for £597

What’s included in the 3-year plan

• 1 Major Service: everything in the Minor Service, plus air and pollen filters, a cooling system check and a full safety inspection.
• 2 Minor Services: engine oil and filter, plus checks on brakes, tyres, steering and suspension, battery, lights and fluids.
• 3 MOTs, booked with a service where possible so it’s one visit.
• Collection and delivery on every plan visit: a local approved garage collects your car from home or work and brings it back.
• Electric cars get an EV service instead, with battery and charging checks in place of oil and filters. EV and hybrid plans

Price and paying monthly

The 3-year plan costs £597 including VAT. You can pay in full online, or in 12 monthly payments by Direct Debit: 12 payments of £49.75. We charge no interest or fees, so the total is the same £597. Your 12th payment is always collected within 12 months of buying.

Buying a car from a dealer? Your dealer can add the plan to your car finance instead. Your finance provider’s approval, interest rate and terms apply.

A fixed-price plan, not a subscription. Paying monthly spreads the cost; the total is the same as paying in full, and you agree to pay the full price whether or not you use every visit. You can cancel within 14 days, starting the day after you buy your plan, for a full refund. If you've used an MOT in that time, we'll deduct its value. After the 14-day cooling-off period, your plan can't be cancelled and the full price remains payable. How to cancel.

When you can use it

• Services: your first plan service can be booked from 9 months after your plan starts. After that, each service can be booked once it’s due under your manufacturer’s schedule.
• MOTs: can be booked whenever they fall due, including in the first 9 months. Car under 3? You get a free Safety Check instead of an MOT until one is due.
• After the plan ends: each service and MOT can still be used up to 60 days after the end of the plan.

3-year plan or 2-year plan?

Compared with the 2-year plan, the 3-year plan adds a third year, an extra Minor Service and an extra MOT, for £148 more. If you sell the car, the plan stays with it and can be transferred to the new owner (it can’t be moved to another car).

What isn’t included

• Tyres, brake pads and discs, wiper blades, bulbs and batteries
• Replacing spark plugs (they’re inspected), timing belts or chains, and fuel filters
• Brake fluid, coolant, gearbox or other fluid changes, unless listed for your service; AdBlue
• Repairs needed to pass an MOT, and repairs after accident damage, neglect or misuse
• Electric cars: repairs to the high-voltage battery, motor, inverter, on-board charger, charging socket or cables; software updates
• Warranty, breakdown or repair cover of any kind

If the garage finds work your plan doesn’t cover, we contact you with a price first. Nothing extra is done unless you agree, and any extra work you approve is paid for separately. See clause 2.8 of our terms.

Which cars can have a plan?

Cars under 15 years old with under 100,000 miles when the plan starts: petrol, diesel, hybrid and plug-in hybrid cars with an engine up to 3.0 litres, and fully electric cars. Not available for LPG or hydrogen, supercars, taxis, private hire, driving-school, hire or delivery vehicles, modified, imported or written-off cars.
