Contact us
Please have your car’s registration ready, and your plan reference if you have it (it’s in your plan confirmation email).
Common tasks
If the garage finds extra work
Your plan covers the services and MOTs listed on your plan confirmation. If the garage finds work that isn’t included, we contact you with a price first. You decide: no extra work is carried out without your agreement, and any extra work you approve is paid for separately. See clause 3.5 of our terms.
Payments
- If a monthly payment fails, we’ll contact you by email, text or letter and may try to collect it again within 7 days. While a payment is overdue, we can’t book visits under your plan. We don’t charge interest or late payment fees.
- If you’re struggling to pay, contact us as soon as possible on 020 3640 8108 or at info@carserve.com. We’ll consider reasonable requests for a new payment arrangement. Free, independent debt advice is available from MoneyHelper and StepChange.
- Cancelling your Direct Debit doesn’t cancel your plan: the remaining balance is still owed. See sections 4 and 5 of our terms.
Selling your car, or if it’s written off or stolen
Your plan stays with the car and can be transferred to the new owner by contacting us; it can’t be moved to another car. Selling the car doesn’t end your payments: you can keep paying or settle the balance. If the car is written off or stolen and not recovered, send us your insurer’s settlement letter or a police crime reference number and we’ll end the plan and cancel any instalments not yet due.
Making a complaint
If you’re unhappy with your plan or a plan visit, tell us by email at info@carserve.com, by phone on 020 3640 8108, or by post to the address above. Please include your registration and what went wrong.
- We’ll acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days.
- We aim to resolve it within 8 weeks.
See clause 6.1 of our terms. Nothing in our terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
